Hi all, just found this today and want to take time to check it all out.
My husband and I are kind of at our wits end right now. And are looking for any outlet we can find.
We have 3 boys and the oldest, 11, is ADHD. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi.

Welcome to the site. I found this site at a time I desperately needed support and answers for problems we were having with our son. It has connected me with other parents who understand exactly what I am going through, and let me benefit from the experience of others. So keep hanging out and post anytime you have a question!

Like austinmsmom said, I also found this when I needed it! It has been one of the biggest outlets for frustration and one of the biggest homes filled with love.
Come often and stay as long as you like. Kaiti

Very cute Kati!! I appreciate this.. I don't know where to start yet. I'm gonna look around and then ask a few questions. This has been a miserable semester at school, and we definately need answers!!

As per any questions you might have, I have learned that around here, there really aren't any dumb questions. If there are, they were probably asked by me sometime... ;D
Don't be shy, there are lots of things to look through and our moderators here can point you int he right direction to help you find things you might not see off the giddyup.
Have a good Day...TGIF Kaiti

Guess I just woke up on the right side of the bed, now is that starbord, wait, thpppppp, I'm not water material, unless it is chlorinated and has a diving board Eye, you will see that I don't like people not smiling. My IPS teacher in HS always asked us if he needed to stand on his head and spit chicklets to get our attention. So I guess I'll be doing that. D2B if you can find a pic like that, I'd be amazed. Welcome Eye! Kaiti has already asked most of the dumb questions, I asked the rest of them... so ask away! As you can see, we are really a family here.
And Kaiti, you shouldn't have tempted D2B that way! You know he will find a way to make a pic, with a pirate, standing on his head and chiclettes too!
And, for D2B... A Jolly Roger Riddle for ye'
is it the bulb or the lense that makes the port light green???

Thanks again for the welcome. I'm just so sad right now, and feel desperate. It's bumming me out that I'm here at work, and it feels like I have a crisis at home.

Welcome Newbie, I'm sort of new. I haven't been here in about 3 years. I know the feeling of working when you have a crisis at home. I should be at work right now. My son is home due to school suspension. Anyhow, take a deep breath and know that things pass and usually a crisis brings on help that maybe wouldn't come for a while. I had my worst times with my older son in the last four years or so. I didn't know if I would make it. I did. Right now he is doing so much better but I still have that feeling in the pit of my stomach that the other shoe will drop again. This site is great. I have no friends that really understand what it is like to raise two ADD boys. Thank God for my daughter who is just so smart and grounded and always puts things in the right perspective. I think she has helped me more than anyone! I'm so glad I found this site again. I forgot what it feels like not to be so alone in this.
