A girl

Hello, I have met a woman on the internet whom I strongley suspect has ADHD. I have researched and she checks out for most of the symptoms. I don't know wether she is aware she has ADHD. My problem is whenever I chat with her she seems very guarded and will not say much then something will happen and she will promise to return and never does. I now lack of talking seems unusual for ADHD. I know she is interested in me but then I lose contact with her for days on end. How can I get her to talk with me more?

I have to ask why do you so think this girl has adhd? Not being talkative is definitely not part of adhd ... in fact our adhd'ers tend to often be VERY talkative ...

Please tell us more and also why you think this girl may be adhd ?

Alot of women and girls are taught NOT to talk to people they dont know online other than people they know in person..especially if it is the opposite sex... I would also be guarded about researching someone I barely knew ..let alone trying to decide whether or not they had adhd Adhd is something that can be tough to diagnose..there are so many other things that mimic , or go along with, or just plain closely resemble adhd that I wouldn't take a chance on just assuming she could have it.

Also could she be gaurded because you are gaurded and dont realize it? I mean you have no info listed
here ..and your name is' mystery' . Could she just be a little nervous? Some people are paranoid about things like that. I am not saying you are one of the 'bad' guys but it does happen online that bad people impersonate good people all the time and some women are very careful who they talk to and what they say online.
Are you interested in adhd or are you adhd? Alot of people out there are these days ..this is a very good place to come if you are . The knowlegde some of the people here have is just amazing.

Also usually when a girl doesn't want to talk or goes away and doesn't come back then it means "not interested". I would probably just respect that and look elsewhere.

I think she might have adhd because I went to this site

and did the check list for adhd and she scored quite high. Of course its not conclusive. Yeah she has a blog site and she said she can 'play normal', so maybe that is what she is doing. Well I actually like her hyper, she always replies to ppls posts and is always doing different things, she has mood swings and then everything seems to come crashing down for her. Then she is hyper again and she makes me happy when she replies to my emails and does chat with me. No I don't have ADHD, probably a bit melodratic. Well I hope she is interested in me and thanx for your advice.

:)mystery...I am a little concerned here. We have done threads talking about this very thing. Are you sure this person is a "woman" and not a child? Are you by any chance a teen ? Be very careful

I am 100% certain she is an adult (she has a blog site) and I am to. Sorry for not checking all the threads I type of rushed into this and I didn't know there was info to be filled in. I called myself mystery because I think she is a mystery. Well I am going to meet her in real life. I am just wondering if I should come straight out and ask her if she has ADHD or could that freak her out?.

Has she posted her photo on the blog..you dont have to be an adult to have a blog...and it is kind of considered impolite to ask about health issues before you meet her face to face..that would be something you would wait to hear from her.
