Hey,
I thought this was an ADHD website. Where is the need for adventure. The rest of the world is happy doing almost nothing. If it isn't a day of surfing at Padre Island or something like that it is like slow motion. Aren't there any normal ADHD sinles out there. Matching up the energetic adventure seeking types could make real working relationships. It seems like the Kibbles and Bits commercial with the waiting on normal people to figure out what they are trying to accomplish. Most of them can't absorb the nature one-tenth as much as a person with ADHD. Romance is what you make of it. It takes the same work singles put into it. Married couples need to live the romantic dating life or just do without it. Break out the picnic basket and candles. Go somewhere fun without any kids and act like kids. What was fun that got married couples together in the first place. I'm going to surf the summer at the Gulf Coast of Texas. I live like I'm young so I am. I'm 47 and look like I'm 27. Life is what you make of it. I hope to find someone just like me that has ADHD and the need for adventure and fun.

George .. Welcome to the forum.. The need for adventure is still there ..somewhere between the hubby, jobs, house, kids, schools, shopping, taking care of parents , doctors, and what ever other small boring absolutely necessary details life tends to throw our way. After 28 years of marrage if you dont have a little more than romance between you then you got nothin. For me and hubby just being able to pass out quietly together can be a blessing. I think its all the responsiblity. ;D The little things start counting more than the dates . I can still keep up with most 25 yr olds in many ways but now we pick our impulses more carefully. ;D We have gone from playing gigs ,partying for weeks non stop, and body piercing for fun to time with kids, gardening, and family meals . We have lived both extremes. That is the adhd impulsivity. I guess as you age and have a family that happens. I think if I went back in time I would be bored to death even though today seemed pretty uninteresting. ;D It is really good to see someone out there enjoying themselves and acting like a kid ..hope you can do it forever. I hope you meet someone equally impulsive and exciting. ;D good luck and by the way you aint seen exciting and adventure till you have an adhd child to live with.. ;D ;D ;D ;D
