I read that article....some of it I didn't agree with or maybe I am wrong?
The repercussions are sometimes mild, sometimes devastating. Researchers have found significant burdens on people with ADHD with regard to medical costs and missed days at work. ADHD sufferers often have to contend with other mental disorders as well. They are more likely to be undereducated, underpaid, asthmatic or drug abusers.

Brocksmom, thanks for the interesting article. I am kinda thinking like Linda. Mine thinking is that the article was focusing on the negative point, not the positive points. You all should know by now tha ti hate looking at the glass as half empty. They might cost more with thier meds, but from my experience with ADHDer's, they taking the thoughts home with them and solve problems at home.......maybe not AT THE WORKPLACE.......but it gets solved. Sorry, getting awful touchy tonight. No offence against you Brocksmom at all, we just see the better side of things sometimes, don't we
