I'm BORED

8-)YEAH, I coulda put this in the kids section, but it doesn't pertain to them. I have NO MOTIVATION to do anything.

Mike is out on the boat, and I am still getting over my fear of water, so to go to the river, out of the creek....let's just say that it's out of the question.

I had a panic attack a couple of weeks ago when we went through 2 wakes in a row......needless to say not EVERYONE is born a Boat person. I couldn't breath, I was shaking, oh man, the worst part was.......the kids were there. I usually put on the strong face for them, but I couldn't do it.

Anyhow, we are getting the stove delivered tomorrow morning so I need to scrub behind the old one. Have to get the old stove out of the house too. Did I mention my husband isn't here

Anyhoo, I guess I'll get to it here in a sec........I feel like the kids.....lots of stuff to do,

I know what you mean. I get bored even though there's plenty I should be doing--like housework. I sorta feel overwhelmed and figure it's useless because it will be just as bad again in a few hours. I do manage to get through the basic cleaning, but not beyond that.

I did get the floor scrubbed where the old stove was

Had to move the old stove to the carpet.....dang that was heavy :oOh but that's OK, I am waiting for my husband to get home so we can go get the %^^*% boat.

APPARENTLY it broke down around H*A*N*C*O*C*K*S Bridge......remember the thingy...had to use code...surprised I remembered before i hit to post ;D

Hope I can wait til the morning...since I have never driven the truck with the boat on it, much less back it in to a slip......let alone in the dark.....and I can't drive at night because I can't see.....

The halloween parade is having a shrimp and beer fundraiser today So in order to get in at a discount, we gotta work it $10 for all you can eat shrimp that we'll be serving, I think anyhow.....I hope.....

just gotta remember not to lick my fingers in front of people ;D HAHA, just kidding, I've worked for a caterer, I know we aren't allowed to do that.

BUT on another note, my stove was delivered this morning. We had to move the piano out of the way, so now me and Mike are on a rearranging kick.....we'll when we start we will be ;D ;D ;D First we need to get through today

I got out of housework today--we went to a space center in Mississippi with some friends.

Is that a NASA space center? If it was, I'm jealous. They have so much information to send if you ask for it. We have lithographs on the wall here int eh dining room. And a poster with teh "geology of the solar system"

They had to be taped up, as we have the old horse hair plaster and don't want to ruin it

Yes, they test rocket engines there. You know, we came away with no souvenirs except a map of the place.

So what kind of stuff was there? Mikey just came back from a trip to Mars ???at least that's where he said he was going this morning ;D ;D ;D IO told him to be back by lunch.......he grinned cause he was waiting for me to say something serious and I played along ;D ;D ;D

Mike has a very big interest in the universe, so we try to keep up on all that stuff, at least that is the focal point we tell Mikey. He has to pay attention in school and do well, so he can get into the air force and then NASA

That reminds me.........my MIL was driving on time up to PA and they had cruise control.

She asked my FIL if she could take her hands OFF the wheel while she had it on

You know, I'm not sure what stuff is there. We spent all our time trying to keep track of the kids! Seriously though, I get back with ya later when I have more time.

It probably has more info about what's there than I could give. Science was my least favorite subject and there are just some aspects of it that I don't absorb well.

It's not a big place, but it's free and the kids had fun.

I have found with my kids, the free places are more fun Then again I guess it's what you make of it.

Thanks for the link. Mikey will LOVE it. I have a folder int eh favorites with kids links. They know that they are free to go into any of them-the links with out me hanging over their shoulder. Mikey loves to go to discovery kids. At least I'm pretty sure that's the site.

I know it keeps him occupied for a while....except every 30 seconds when I am trying to do something. HEY MOM THIS IS COOL< COME LOOK AT THIS

Not too bored anymore, just found out last night that I have a birthday party tomorrow >:(Glad people call me. I was thinking about not going because the girl never called our house. But Mom already told me, so that's out. >:(ain't family great.

Plus it's archery at the club and Mike has to work tomorrow. The weekend just look ssooooooo lovely
