Hi all, I joined this board almost a year ago and hadn't been back in quite some time. I am undiagnosed but I am hoping to change that soon and finally get some help. My oldest daughter was diagnosed almost a year ago and after trying other alternatives, we have decided to try meds. She will be starting low dose Adderall XR on Monday and will increase dosage after a week. Her speech therapist also has ADD and had provided me ADD checklists printed from www.oneaddplace.com for me and one for my husband to fill out about me. I initially checked off the symptoms that I felt applied to me, only to reach the last page (scoring page) to figure out that I was supposed to rate these items on a scale of 0-4 based on how well they applied. Well, that alone should be some kind of an indicator right? Anyhow, my husband had also started the checklist and asked if he could give some of the symptoms a 5. Now, I am focusing on doing what I'd intended to do at least 6 mos. ago, just need to get up the nerve. I remember what a great bunch were on this board and am glad to be back.

:)Erin, of course you are remebered, I love your "bug" name.. ;D Anyhow, I am also undiagnosed, and from looking around here, you can probably tell. I can tell you that I am scared to death. Point blank, I do want to understand things, but with the stigma some people put on things, I don't want that. Here's a ((((((((kick in the pants))))))))) Get going and help yourself. And here's some Don't be a stranger Kaiti
