Just venting(again)

Did you know that the cardboard fairy comes to our house every night to break down the cardboard from the day

Did you know that the laundry fairy does all of the laundry?

AND the dish fair comes and washes all of the dishes and puts them away?

I am so sick and tired of doing everything around here, it's unreal. To top it off, my striking I did last week didn't work, just pissed Mike off because I sit around all day with nothing to do :oOf course when everything is done and I'm not in the mood to do anythingelse he complains I don't want to do anything. NOOOOOO really ???I wouldn't know why

I am just tired of it, yeah, I could stike again, but the realtor called about an hour ago; we are supposed to show the house tomorrow morning at 10am ::)So there blows that. I just want a dang dumpster to toss what ever is not put where it belongs.

There goes all of his stuff cause God forbid he puts something away. "I was using it" Buddy you ain't touched it for 2 weeks, get over it. Sick sick sick

Well, I'll be popping in later to take my break from cleaning the basement that HE said was his and that he would clean :(Did it get done? course not....now I'll be getting into where I put everything that he can't find because he won't get off his butt long enough to do something.

Oh and for spite? I am making him fix my truck :oI won't take it to the mechanic if he knows how, so he spent last night cussing up one side and down the other..... well, if you have the skill, you can do it....worse than trying to get Mikey to write 5 sentences.

WOW, just got off the phone with him, and I forgot he is going on a fishing trip tomorrow.......

I know, I seem to be the only one here who take´s care of the household. Yes, he work´s, but so do I, we both bring money home, but I´am the only one cleaning, doing dishes, washing clothes.... "mom"-syndrome hit´s me hard ;D

To be honest, he does clean when I tell him to, or start it so he has to join me But to actually paln on washing, cleaning or so on... NO WAY

I feel for you, staying home with kid´s is not just fun, not to be apresiated by it just suck´s

I hope tomorrow will be better, mayby it rain´s and he´ll have to repair your truck ;D

Btw; you´ll hit 3000 post sooner than I can hit 2000 ;D ;D

I know how you feel! I can bust my behind keeping the house just from getting destroyed - taking care of the kids, the dog, the grocery shopping, the cooking, the laundry. And all I ever get is, "Didn't you do anything around here today?" Excuse me?!! Hmmm - I don't see HIM putting his dishes in the dishwasher! And god forbid if he had to function at home even ONE day with these two kids and the dog. (He can't even manage to take the dog out in the mornings when he is puttering around making coffee, etc.)!!

I always love the Oprah shows where she puts the men to work for a week - they are always so humble afterward!!! I would LOVE to see DH do that!!!!

BTW- we did rent a dumpster last summer - we filled it instantly! We need a bigger one! There is something so satisfying about tossing stuff! We got rid of toys, clothes, college text books (what did I think I was going to do with those anyway?)! I guess it wouldn't look too great showing the house with a dumpster right outside though, huh!

Thanks, I feel a little better now even, just taking a break. I haven't stop puttingthings away or laundry ot anything since I was here last...BUT Tara says Hey Mommy, I thought Daddy was supposed to clean the basement?

I made the mistake of snapping at her, WEll, I guess we get to huh I'll be apologizing after they get done helping me with the laundry...Although she did say the house looked better

She full of it too I don't blame him for not lifting a finger since he is at work. I'll take that responsibility, but to tell me he is going to clean something up 2 months ago and 4 people have already come top look a thte house, the basment looks like And is he here, NOOOOOO, so what's it look like when I bust my buitt with the rest of the house and apologize for it not being tidy That is what burns my biscuts

Here's an observation from the other side:

As primary caregiver for two of my four kids (two are adults) and auxiliary for my grandson, I do lots of housekeeping ---

--- but when I'm called upon to do housekeeping by females in my life, I often shy away, because when I follow thru, I am told I did it wrong, or that my way isn't suitable, blah blah.

It's a question of expectations, speaking clearly about what is needed, and how the results are handled ...

He swears that one time when he did laundry all by himself like a big boy ;DI told him he didn't do it right :oOh boy, all I can say is liar , he's never done it, so I can't bash it

I do see where you're coming from though, almost like not worth doing. Alright, now you have me on a guilt trip for my husband. I try not to do that though. I hate when people do that to me
