Growling about family

Apparently after I drive 8 hours to spend a week with family, they're the ONLY people I'm allowed to associate with. I'm in trouble because a friend of mine came and tagged along for an afternoon. Gee, y'know, when we visit my cousins, they go out at night with their friends. Mine can't even come along, when I'm staying with the family? Apparently I "deserted" the family because she came along shopping with us, then all of THEM decided to go back to camp.

Ain't family great

What I like best is the double standard that my mom and dad have for me and my sister. Just lovely.....she's only 11 months older than me, but God forbid I do something wrong I have the grand kids, so you would think they would be a bit nicer. Nope, nothing good enough for the grand kids either..

I agree - it is annoying and a double standard - but just think how much they love and miss you!!!
