UM, being at my aunts farm when I was, the boots stay out in the mud house or mud room or what ever you want to call it.....I'd bne ticked about that too-fire away about the, BUT, don't throw everything else on that one, or he won't here ya.
You can put a sign on the door saying to remove boots or something.
Dang I wish I could get outta the house for a little bit, oh yea I can, I can go today and pick lima beand for my dad ::)You know it's a shame when you grow up swearing that you won't do something, but then when your older, it's your saving grace, I wouldn't have it any other way ;D
((((((((((hugs))))))))))))Becky.

There is nothing lonelier than being out of touch with one's partner ...

Well I do feel better today, and he is supposed to be off at 3:30 for the rest of the week and have sunday off!!
I really hope that happens. I didn't complain last night or anything b/c he was so tired that would have not been nice. I warmed up his supper and just talked with him.
I did get him to agree that we need to get a cell phone. That way he can at least let me know what is going on in a day and I don't have to sit and worry and wait. I usually worry b/c when it gets so late I wonder if something happened. I usually expect him late and if something does happen, or if a truck breaks down he could sit there for hours before I would know somthing is wrong. Plus, if I said if I don't know where he is or when to expect him I can't get ahold of him in a emergency. Having the phone will make a big difference for both of us.
Monday he will be back at the same hours again, but having this break in here really will ben nice for all of us.

Hey Becky, glad your feeling better Now, about the cells phone: my husband has a trac phone, he bought it at walmart. he buys his minutes, and it isn't too bad of a deal. He really wants to get one with a calling plan, like nextels or something, but we just cancelled on 2 phones because they just sent 1, and then the paper work didn't go through and they had no record of him haveing the phone. :oSo he called them and said since he only got the one phone instead of 2 and all the running around the company gave him, he was cancelling.....that day we got phone #2 . So he called again. They told him to send them back and basically no harm no foul. YESTERDAY WE GOT A BILL FOR THEM He was on the phone with them for almost an hour straightening everything out. Yes there is a point to my rambling.....he went over the internet trying to get one of the deals that gets e-mailed. It was a pain. The 2 companies weren't even on the same page. Just becareful when your getting whatever kind of phone you get. I really like the track phone because you pay for the time first and don't have to wait on a bill. Just my thoughts

Becky, you sound so much like me. Sometimes I feel like a single parent raising three kids. DH works the graveyard shift and goes to college three times a week. We hardly ever see each other. When he is here, he is either sleeping, on the computer, or studying. I get very lonely. We usually don't sleep in the same bed even when he is off work.
It is so tough, but I keep telling myself that things will get better. In the meantime, I just have to keep struggling with it all.
Wish I had a suggestion or two, but I don't. Just know you aren't the only one in this position.

Becky I´am clad you´re feeling little better It´s hard, take care of the house and kid´s and everyday running around, plus you do work too summer is always so busy at farm´s, I hope it´ll get easier by wintertime. About cell phone´s: different country, different way´s but, We have 2 cellphone´s, we just canselled our "solid" phoneline, because we make all our call´s by cellphone´s, those are so easy (But remember; this come´s from someone living in a country of 5 million inhabitant´s and over 3,5 million cellphone´s ) I hope your sunday will be peacefull and happy with all the family together
