Well, he did it. We went to the hair dressers and Mike cut off his ponytail for Locks of Love. Funny thing is if he didn't do it today, he's have stalled another year. This is the second donation that he has made to them. Now he's pacing on the porch and told me he has Post Traumatic Hair Cut Disorder. Alright Ladies, how many of us have had that? He had about 12" to give, so hopefully a little kid will be blessed with his hair. My husband the Hair Farmer.

He is such a sweety, I told him I liked his hair long and that whole look, now he looks "official" like Military or a cop or something.
He has one of those heads that actually looks good with a flat top or long hair. Know what I mean? Some guys look like goobers if they have their hair long, but his whole attitude fits either one.
He told me last night that I am the most balanced person he has ever met. I told him he was full of it ::)He says that I took getting bumped in stride, and when I go abouts anything I look at it from all angles :oWho's he kidding, I just look at it.
I did tell him I learned it from the best. He is my rock.

He's polling everyone that makes a comment. So far the consensous is for him to keep it short. We're going over to show the couple that runs sporting clays here in a minute. Actually I'm nibbing since he-the husband was in a boating accident this weekend.
Plus I want ot show of my husband!!!!! ;D

He's only had 4 haircuts since I've known him. Let's see, met him in 89, he cut his hair in 92 so that he could use his dad's car, and that was only the top an dsides, not a total mullet though. Then let see, he cut it when Mikey was about 6 months old, it took about 20 minutes for Mikey to stop crying cause some stranger was holding him He then cut it about 2 years ago and donated that, and then now. He's adjusting pretty good. And say a prayer for my friend, he's gotta go get cat scans and stuff done tomorrow. He said he wished he'd have just broke it, but they don't know what's going on, they think he has a blood clot, but they aren't sure. Thanks

I donated mine to locks of love about 18 months ago and if felt pretty good. I have been thinking about it again, but I have bad hair to begin with and don't think I should mess with it more than I have to. Jerry is a flat-top kind of guy. He goes in every 4 weeks or so and has it done. It looks pretty good on him, especially since that time I tried to do it for him and he ended up with a buzz-cut. That is why Honey calls him fat-head! Actually he does have an "abnormally large head" as quoted from a doctor at Children's Hosp in Milwaukee, so we make all kinds of jokes. Honey is round-head, Jerry is fat-head, and Avery told us to call her pretty-head.

Thinking about his on a psychological stand point, Mike has a commanding presense. He looks so official, he's getting called Sir :owhich cracks me up. He actually looks like a State Trooper or Police officer ;D That's just how he carries himself, very self assured, but also very kind hearted when you talk to him. But he's also getting back to his roots-pun intended. We were talking last night, and with his hair long, he had some friends that would talk and then be gone, now it's the other way around. Ones that used to not talk to him or would be fairly short with him are yapping with him like long lost buddies But about his self esteem: it is back to the level when I met him. Not that it dropped out from under him, but I think because my dad for some reason didn't approve of his Long Hair ::)he would cut him every chance he would get Now it's like Dad has a totally different attutiude towards him He actually approves of him- at least to a point I'd like to hear from Douglas about how he's doing with his hair. Well, Douglas.........
