I just wanted to know how everyone is doing on their medication and what they are taking. I know, I sound, completely nosy, but I am-so what's new.

It's okay to be nosy... Who doesn't like to talk about themselves?
I take Strattera. I started at the beginning of February and I'm up to 80 mg. now. I guess it's working well. I feel more able to acomplish things at work and focus on what I need to get done. I feel better able to communicate with others and better able to get that darn tedious paper work done.
The biggest thing that I noticed is that before taking meds I used to start talking and sort of drift off before I finished what I was trying to say. I would be all done in my head but hadn't said everything I wanted to, to the person I was talking to. Sometimes they would get confused and I couldn't figure out why. Now I can get everything out before my mind moves on to the next subject.

;DAm on strattera 40ng, will be on 60mg next script. Am sleeping better and can get long tedious projects done faster at work. Can also play with my daughter for longer periods of time. Am waiting for the SSRI like capabilities to kick in. (been on Strattera 6 weeks) because my regular SSRI needs a boost. Generally doing OK though.

Thank you both so much for your replies. It's nice to know that you are both doing so much better with the medication.

I have been taking Adderall for about 4 months now. I really like it. In fact, I wonder how I made it this long without it.
I get so much done in a day! I am finally not ashmed to have people over to my house b/c it was such a disaster. I don't regret it at all.

Again, I answer for Hubby, because to get him to sit down here is like pulling teeth ;D
He started on Strattera, 40 mg, then I bumped him up to 80 mg. It was a huge disaster. He was tired all the time, depressed, cranky, sexual side effects, headaches, just awful. He's been on Ritalin 20 mg three times a day, for about three months I think, and it's working much better for him.

;D took my first dose of Strattera 60mg this a.m. up from 40mg. was on concerta but it made me almost bipolar. The 40mg helped but the 60mg is also supposed to boost my SSRI meds. We will see. ;D

Sweety, I have been on SSRI's off and on for 9 yrs. I was on Strat. at 80 mg. but I forgot to refill my script, and am med free for now. Tomorrow I go back to the doc and want to get rid of both my inattention and depression. Can you tell me how it works for you using both? If you want, you can send me an IM.
