Does anyone here have any experiance with using biofeedback to manage ADD/ADHD or decrease use of meds? i posted earlier here asking about the Drake institute which specializes in using biofeedback with self reported "great" results. But i want to hear from some who have used it with sucess or not. Any thoughts...? i have read the Dr Amens (sp) book mentions it but have no other refrence point. i know the general idea is that using biofeedback teachs you to use more of your frontal cortex, ie increasing the bloodflow to areas in the front of the brain to increase function. It sounds plausable and like it could help.

I haven't tried it, but I have read about it. It seems like it could work if you approach it with the right attitude. I don't of anyone who has tried it so I can't give advice on it. If you want to decrease meds it it probably worth checking out.
