There's enough mommies on here that someone should be able to give me an idea of what's going on. I'm sleeping waaaay too much. Yesterday I took a nap from 3.30 to 6.30, then went to bed at 8.30. I woke up this morning at about 8. About 2.30, I crashed again and slept until about 5.30. it's 9.30. It feels like bedtime. I normally don't take naps. I normally can't sleep during the day at all. I normally go to bed around 11 or so. The dark circles under my eyes keep getting darker. Any ideas?

I don't think it's working too hard. I didn't get anything at all done today, besides eating and sleeping.

Does your body ever just plain force you to catch up when you've done too much for too long on too little fuel? Mine does. Did last night.
Took L'il Sprout to a pizzaria and split a medium cheese pizza and came home and crashed for about 12 hours sleep. I haven't been real conversational today either. Don't think I'm done hibernating quite yet.
If this never happens to you then I'd start chugging the vitamin C. I hear the flu has already hit Texas.

I think the flu's going around, I've been really good at the nap thing lately. Sat down to watch Regis and Kelly (9am) and woke up to the beginning strains of the All My Children theme song!
If it's not the flu, it could be stress. Before Paxil and I got together, I was napping after work, then going to bed about 9. ADHD is stressful, whether you have it yourself or you live with someone who does.
Hope you feel better soon!

Sierra, mine will force me to catch up, but I've been getting 8 or 9 hours of sleep every night.
I'm not allowed to have the flu until after tomorrow. I have things I have to get done today.

Just a few thoughts.... Depression put me in bed from the time my son went to sleep 7pm to 6 am and I did not want to get up. I was not getting any exercise. I was overwhelmed with things to get done, so I did not do anything. No passion for life or accomplishing anything..... Depression...... Virus... One year I had something for about 2 weeks that I was sooooo tired and not hungry.... Stress, if your mind is working overtime your body reacts to it by trying to rest. If all else fails, put a pair of shorts on and run around the building a couple of times (it is 34 out now).

I seem to be doing a bit better now. My head hurts from hitting it on the top bunk too many times, but other than that, I seem to be sleeping a bit more normal.
Yay!!!
Oh, and they're saying that the flu is getting more people earlier this year than it normally does.

Allanque just a thought, but that sleepines may also be a result of lack of vitamins and Iron(not shure that´s it in english ) meaning that a low hemoglobin level will make you sleepy and tired, seems like you cant get anything done... just a thought! Marja

I'm doing better now. Going to bed around 11 or 12, waking up around 7 or 8.
Yay!!!
When I start training (I got a job! Wheeee!!!), that's probably going to seriously screw me up. 6pm to 12am, Monday through Friday.

I agree with the iron thing
If I get real crabby and tired, I crave steak and stuff.

A 30 hour a week job while you're going to school? I hope this is a good idea Take care! That's just for the training. Once I'm past that, my schedule will be stacked where I'm working 16 of my hours on the weekends and Tuesday night (not late). I won't really have classes on Tuesdays. I sit around my room doing nothing (or playing on the computer) too much as it is anyways, so it'll cut out some of that time instead of into my study time.
