I like FlyLady. I finally picked up a timer yesterday.
Now, I can see most of my floor. My clothes are picked up off the floor. My dishes are mostly in one spot to do. My Russian homework is done. I finally got my food in the cabinet I bought for it right after school started.
*dances around*

I like flylady too. Of course, I am still on baby steps! But I wear my shoes a lot now!

I'm still on baby steps too, but I can actually step in my room without stepping on things now.
I've gotten almost all my piles of paper thrown away or filed. If I could just do dishes and get a few more things done, my room would actually be clean.

I've got to try FlyLady again. I was doing this when I was pregnant but unsubscribed after the baby was born because I wouldn't check my Email and then next thing you know, The FlyLady has deposited far too many emails to be read, or to understand. I think I will be on baby steps forever, though. But that's better than the current No-steps, or When-I-Feel-Like-It Steps. And I liked my shiny sink. Much better than the..What? Where /is/ my sink?! I have the book. (If I subscribe to the website I'll just procrastinate a little bit more - I am already on this board far too much ). I was reading the book to DH - and he was laughing so hard - he wanted to know if she had been in our house! It is a small comfort to know that there are others with the same problems! But we are getting new furniture - new sofas and DH who makes furntiure is making a new kitchen table, etc. So I am hoping to have the house nice and clean so I can enjoy everything. Also - my sister and brother-in-law are coming for Christmas all the way from Belgium - so I have some motivation to get going! It's that darn clutter! It's a little frightening how much can accumulate!

OMG That bathroom pic was horrid . Click into the clutter pics, but warning.. DONT EAT ANYTHING YET.. I would fire bomb my house if it got that way. After seeing those pics in flylady, my house is spotless, even with four kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats, 5 fish and of course THE HUSBAND, king of all clutterers

Timer works great. I used this same method before I heard of Flylady. My method was 10 minutes in one room and them move on to the next for at least three room a day. It at least took care of some of the clutter. I sometimes wouldn't use a timer, but put on a CD and say four songs per room.
