Anyone seen or tried this? We just changed to the NN Omega 3-6-9 Juniors, but I was wondering if this might be better.

forgot to add: Omega 3-6-9 Juniors = 148mg EPA, 98DHA (I'm giving 3 in the am and 3 in the pm) NN DHA = 500DHA and 150 EPA NN Omga 3's (I take these) 360EPA & 240DHA
Which one is best? I'm so confused by the different doses. My son has no problem taking large pills so it doesn't really matter which one. He had done well on the Children's Omegas, but it was 12 per day and very expensive after 2 years.

Your choices of Omega 3-6-9 Junior and Omega-3 that you're currently taking are good ones. (Are you taking at least two of the Omega-3?) I don't like the NN DHA because the EPA is insufficient. Might be fine for a pre-school age child, but not for anyone older. For a preschooler, one of the DHA daily would be fine.

Thanks. My son take 3 NN3-6-9 in the morning and 3 @ night. I take at least 2 of the Omega 3's, and in a pinch, I've done the same for my son. Thanks for confirming what I thought I knew (but wasn't sure).

Cheermom, you don't need to add anything else, as long as you are using enough of the Omega 3-6-9. Six capsules daily is a decent amount, enough to meet the minimum effective dose noted in clinical studies.

Does he get at least 100 IU between the two sources? If so, then you're probably fine. I give my son 100 IU in the morning and again in the evening, but depending on which expert you read, anywhere in the 100 IU - 400 IU range is good.
If you need to add more, the 100 IU capsules are really tiny and inexpensive.
