INTRODUCTION:
Eating properly is imperative to good health. Take vitamin, mineral, or herbal supplements only when there is a nutritional deficiency in the diet. A chiropractor, a nutritionist, or a naturopathic doctor can determine nutritional deficiencies.
In order to test for nutritional deficiencies Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA) is used as well as Kinesiology. The testing person is trained in these two areas and versed in nutrition. He/She has knowledge of the organs of the body, and a comprehensive understanding of vitamin, mineral, and herbal supplements.
CRA is a simple and a natural method of analyzing the body’s structural, physical, and nutritional needs. A deficiency in any of these areas could cause or contribute to various acute or chronic health problems. CRA is not a method of diagnosis but rather a means by which the reflexes of the body can accurately determine the cause of health problems.
CRA is also a preventative technique used to find a problem before it becomes a big health issue. CRA can reveal the root of a health problem. When a migraine or a severe headache occurs, the doctor prescribes a drug or aspirin. CRA can help determine what caused the headache at its onset instead of putting a Band-Aid on the headache until the next time.
CONTACT REFLEX ANALYSIS PROCESS:
Nerves carry electrical energy and connect every organ, gland, muscle, and tissue. There are approximately 75 reflex areas on the skin. When the body becomes ill, there is an interruption of nerve energy to these reflexes.
To test a reflex, the patient’s arm muscle is used as a ‘circuit’ indicator. When a fingertip comes near or touches a healthy reflex, the arm muscle will remain strong, because nerve energy is flowing freely. When the arm muscle is suddenly weak, the arm can be pushed down interrupting the nerve energy. This helps to determine the structural, physical, or nutritional deficiency present
Allergies to foods can be tested with CRA by having the person being tested hold the food in one hand and extend both arms at 180 degrees. The testing person pushes on the forearm muscle with fingertips of one hand while touching the lymphatic node under the right arm. Testing supplements in this manner is effective; however, the tester needs to have a comprehensive understanding of nutritional supplements.
To determine your nutritional strengths and deficiencies, work with a qualified doctor, chiropractor, or nutritionist.
