Just to let you know that because of your magnesium info, my DS's anxiety levels have gone way down.
We added Magnesium Glycinate to his supplements, even though he did not show a 'deficiency' and we saw results pretty much immediately.
It's been several weeks now, so I'm confidant that the change is due to the magnesium and not just a few 'good' days.
I probably would not have added magnesium if I hadn't read so much about it in your posts, then doing my own research and finding out how helpful it is with anxiety issues.
Often in connection with ADHD magnesium supplementations is cited to help with hyperactivity--which isn't really a problem with us since Feingold--so I had been discounting it as an option for us.
I'm pleased to see that it also helps tremendously with anxiety issues!!!
Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Oh, Foley, I am SO HAPPY for you!!!!!!!!! Now, in addition to all of the other "Mom" hats you wear, you can add "scientific researcher" and "medical practitioner"...alongside "chef", "transportation manager", etc. I know how wonderful it feels to look at your child and realize you've done something right and really, truly helped him. That's just the most wonderful news, and if you can figure out a way to give yourself a big bear hug, do so!
