Does anybody have an opinion about getting treatment from Dr. Sahley and the Pain and Stress Center in San Antonio? I know she uses amino acids extensively in treatment and has written a book on the topic, but I really don't know much else.
Because my 9th grader was picked as an All-State musician, he'll be going to San Antonio for a week next month to rehearse and perform. Although we're 600 miles from San Antonio, I'm considering going to hear his concert. I thought it might be possible to get Challenge Boy into Dr. Sahley's clinic at the same time.
Does anyone know of any other resources in San Antonio? Might as well make the most of my trip to the big city. Yeee-haw!

Cat, I am a big fan of Dr. Sahley and would make the trip to San Antonio myself. She is a genius with amino acids but like all the good ones she no longer sees patients. She devotes her time to writing books, lectures and research. I believe she still has a nutritionist at her clinic that may be helpful but I'm not familiar with this person. You may want to call and feel it out.

I'm not that familiar with the work here--I've just ordered pharmaceutical grade supplements from them before. But I am a big fan of collecting information and opinions from "experts". You are obviously well researched and can look for pieces that fit into your "puzzle". Many times the transportation and other expenses are greater than the cost of the appointment for an opinion, so if you are going there already, sounds like a great opportunity. Keep us posted!
