Lisle, you mentioned in another thread that your child has high histamine levels and reacts badly to folic acid.
How much folic acid does it take to prompt a reaction, and what kind of reaction is it?
I've been looking into the histamine problem as well and am curious if you had tests to determine the histamine problem or if you came to the conclusion based on behavioral observations or using a symptom checklist of some type.
I think, based on symptoms, it's possible my boy may have high histamine as well. I also have to be very careful to stick with the same brand of B-vitamin since each time we switch he has a bad reaction (pink eye circles, hyper, snotty -- that's snotty attitude, not nasal congestion). Maybe your experience will give me some clues.
