Appetite after stopping meds

For those of you who have used meds and stopped, have you found your child's appetite returned immediately? Ds has been off meds for ~a month, but although appetite has increased a little, he is still following his same pattern as he did with the meds. He eats an adequate, but not oversized breakfast, eats minimal lunch, comes home from school starved, so gets a small snack to not ruin his dinner, eats a modest dinner, and then thinks he is going to die of hunger right about bedtime. I am wanting his lunch appetite to improve, to get him back on track. Did anyone have this problem?

This is interesting because I have to report something totally different... when my son doesn't have his meds at weekends his appetite BOUNCES back (in a BIG way immediately!) ... too big in fact ! ...

However, during the week when he is on his meds his appetite is much, much lower ....
