My son behaved very very well until...his Grandpa gave him Sunny D when I didn't know about it. He bounced off the walls for the last 2 hours but all in all, it was a very good day. I was pretty proud of him-the Sunny D wasn't his fault. I think also that Christmas will be a very different story... Kimmers

My boy did so well, I was really proud of him. He didn't try to sneak unacceptable foods, despite the fridge full of sodas and the pile of candy his cousins brought with them. Despite the 4 degree weather, he went out and fed the horses and broke ice on their water tank every morning at 6 a.m. without complaining and shared his horse with the cousins very nicely.
Only real problem we had was with the bacon my mother cooked each morning. (I don't do bacon, so the kids associate grandma with bacon and look forward to it immensely.) I don't know what it was about the bacon (nitrites??) but my boy didn't do well with it. He improved immediately when I quit letting him eat it.
All in all, I'd say we had a successful holiday! Although, I really don't think I needed all the pies -- chocolate, lemon, pecan, pumpkin, cherry and cranberry-date.

:'(Horrible. I look very forward to the Thanksgiving holiday(Okay, just the food). Everyone of us were sick. My soon to be step son even had to go to the ER. So we missed our dinners with our familys. Once we are all better, I'm making my dinner.
