His nose bleeds seem to start spontaneously but how ticked off he is about getting one has a lot to do with how quickly it is under control. I think it has to do with flared nostrils and other anger related facial contortions. But I could be wrong.

Hi everyone My son has always had nosebleeds. Always during the winter, doc and I think it's due to the dry air in the house. Usually a humidifier and some saline nose drops do the trip. True to form, my son had his first nosebleed early this morning. It was around 4 or 5 am. He is on omega 3 supplements, the ones that catatonic uses (NOW brand). I don't know if this contributed to it or not since like i mentioned before he has always had nosebleeds. It doesn't seem to make them worse either since he didn't bleed excessively or for longer than normal.
