Through tons of patience and persistance, Nate finally took total responsibility for making a meal from start through clean up. He pulled one of those I'm not hungry deals when we sat down, so we excused him from eating. I cleaned up after the meal, then he comes back and says he is hungry. Food's in the fridge, help yourself and clean up when you are done. He did it!! . Now if we could just get him to stay with us during a meal, even if he does not eat. As I always say, one baby step at a time. Miles

Nate! My DD's problem isn't staying at the table, it's eating while she's there. She's a "grazer" and just nibbles and plays. She's the last one away from the table and rarely eats everything on her plate. She is pretty skinny as a result. Maybe if I eat as much as DD and start being as active as DS I will lose some weight!!

LOL My DD just told me, "How about when I blow the whistle, you go and fix supper?" Then she immediately blew the whistle of course. She also sometimes me that she is "starving to death." Still doesn't eat, though.
