Dreams can be strange and very telling of who we are and what we believe. Last night I slept for 3.5 hours straight through. When that happens I have very detailed dreams where I can remember sights, sounds, scents, pain, and emotions. I have read lots of posts where there are so many negative things going on in peoples lives. Things are said, that are hurtful, and there are lots of regrets. But usually the world blocks out the underlying emotion that drives us to stick it out. I had a dream that I was kidnapped by a Chetznian (sp) terrorist group and put in a basement with two others. I was not thinking of how I would escape, but of my wife and son, how their lives would change without me. I missed them. I was moved to another room and my wife and son were there too. My son did not realize the seriousness of the situation and was acting like like, well himself, oblivious to the world, in tune only with his random thoughts. Some lady in the group said that my son was expendible and should be eliminated so that the group would not get into trouble. Normally a quiet person, I found myself in her face defending my family, oblivious the he terrorists and guns around me. I woke up after that scene, and had me thinking for a while. Then I fell back asleep and our cat came back to life. I realized it was a dream and took advantage of the time together. It was pretty nice that she came back to vist again. Miles

I love the dreams I get to decifer, I always think I'll forget things, but then I have blurbs sometimes when out of the middle of nowhere I remember I had a dream about something. Oh yeah, that just made sense I hope you enjoyed your time with your cat, remember if you think he just walked by you, he did

Miles- I personally have taken quite an interest in dream interpretation. I believe it is often a means by which God chooses to speak to us. And like the parables found in the Gospels of the Bible, it requires some 'digging' and alot of thought. I have two books by Ira Milligan on dream interpretation (written from a Christian perspective) and they have proved to be very helpful to me.
You mentioned a basement in your dream- Ira teaches and I agree that many times houses represent ourselves. Basements refer to our fleshly, carnal, sinful nature. Upper levels in houses represent our deeper spiritual being where we believe and hear from God. That being said, I would say that you are being warned to refrain from some selfish or sinful act(s) which could adversely effect your family and or cause seperation to occur between yourself and them. You were placed in there with 2 others ( the number 2 can mean 'divide' (family division) or could involve two others - ( I'd like to hear a more detailed description of those two) I believe the terrorist group represent wicked forces that seek to destroy those things ( such as family) that are close to God's heart. I also believe you are called upon to advocate for your son who has obvious worth and is definately not expendable. The woman represents obstacles in his life that could keep him from acheiving. Guard yourself against attitudes and behaviors that could cause division within the family and advocate for those you love.

Paul, From what I can remember, the two people were men and had been there for at least 8 years. They were frail, but their spirits were good because I was there. I guess someone new to talk to. Ok, got a new one for you. Had a dream that I woke up in the middle of the night not feeling good. I got up to go to the bathroom and my boss came out of where my son's room is and told me he was not feeling good either. It was the chinese food he prepared that made us both sick. I went to the bathroom and came out, no one was around. I opened the door to the outside and there were a few people looking at me. I asked them what was up and they said that I was dead, but could see me. So I closed the door, and was pushed onto an escallator in my living room going up. I got up there and there was a big party set in the "Last Supper" scene. Lots of people in robes, my guess they were deciples. The hand on my shoulder was a brilliant white robe.... then I woke up.... Or how about this one. I was in a small town reminding me of scenes from Europe. Densel Washington was at a cafe table reading and watching his kids playing in the square. Then I showed him how to play marbles for an upcoming movie. No big deal. Woke up. Within 9 minutes I dreamt I was on an inbound plane to Hong Kong. It was an amazing city to see from the air. Old part, modern part and really crouded. After leaving from the airport, I was on like a sled going down hill. I kept sliding and sliding without effort. Went past some really old parts of the City and saw that it was a modern cemetary just made up to look old. I got to a part of town that had some bad young adults in it and they started hasseling me. I ended up kicking one of them, then woke up. Aren't dreams entertaining? Miles

Miles- Yes dreams are entertaining, but I am sure these dreams carry a strong message to you. I am sending you a personal message and I hope you will be as excited as I am at the content of the interpretation.
sweet dreams!
