I have already mentioned that Sam is working extremely hard right now (7 days a week - up to 60 hours a week) ... Today (Sunday) he went in as usual (he was on a late shift which runs from 11.30 a.m. - 8.00 p.m. Apparently only TWO of them turned up ... Sam and his friend and they had to serve 380 people for both lunch and dinner! ... The three other workers who were MEANT to be there today simply didnt show up! .... So Sam and his friend had to do the whole lot!... They have been rewarded though ... their bosses told them that the two of them will get the other boy's wages (the ones that didn't show) and therefore Sam and his friend will be paid for 16 hours today ... the bosses pointed out that this reward is for being there (reliability) for working hard, sticking with it and getting the job done! ... I am so proud of him !! ...

Ah Thanks Marja, Kaiti and Linda! ... I have to be honest ... sometimes he surprises me ! ... It has worried me over the years because he can be so lazy about academic subjects at school ... "I'll do my homework later ... tomorrow... next week" etc... and yet give him a hands-on job to do and he isn't lazy at all! ... Go figure!! ...
