Alright, I saw the United States, Great Britain, Canada, the Koreas, and finally I JUST saw the Philipians, in front of FINLAND!!!!.....
I had been waiting for all of the countries that I have seen.
They say that the introduction was from the greek alphbet, and that is why it wasn't in the order we would have thought.
I just have to say...I once dreamed of swimming with the olympic team :'(but got squished, so I hope that whatever you all wish for your OLYMPIC GOLD WINNERS, I hope it comes true.

I love those "little" nations too Marja ... Oh may they have fun and maybe take a medal home!! ...
Kaiti ... I too watched the opening ceremony and wasn't it fantastic !! ... I missed the bit about them saying it was based on the Greek Alphabet though and I couldn't figure out why much of it was in a "strange" order!! ... Trust me to miss that VITAL piece of information!! ...

A great big Congratulations to the Puerto Rican Men's Basketball Team for beating the USA----OK, that doesn't sound very nice and patriotic, but neither does sending a bunch of Professional Basketball players over there just to say we can beat anyone I don't think that's fair on the part of the other teams that bust their butts trying to make the cut and can't. SO HATS OFF TO PUERTO RICO!!!!!

If the Mens basketball team would play together like a team (say like the DETROT PISTONS ;D ;D) instead of playing individualy they might have had a chance---I think Larry Brown will appreciate his pistons way more when he gets home ;D ;D ;D ;D

sorta like the virgin Islands and stuff. They aren't a state persay, but I'll have to go look it up and refresh my own memory exactly. You'd think Larry Brown and Iverson would get along for hte sake of the olympics though Then again Iverson I saw has more than $4000 worth of traffic tickets, mostly for parking in handicap spots He needs an attitude adjustment
