I HAVE SOME BRAGGING TO DO !
When DS brought home his school agenda last night there was a plain white envelope inside the front folder marked to my attention, now I don't know about everyone else out there, but when I get something like this home it usually spells TROUBLE. Boy did I get the surprise of a life time !! Mitchell's teacher has nominated him to be screaned for the "Gifted Student Program", in the fall of 2004 when we go back to school.
This is a [glow=red,2,300]HUGE[/glow] deal. Especial for a kid that has shown so much potential but has always been centered out for how " Different" he is. I felt like calling the princaple and saying "HUH, in your face" (you know the same one that expelled him at the beginning of the year.)
We are so extreamly proud of his accomplishments every day, and feel honoured to just be nominated, that the outcome makes no difference, other then if the testing does show "Gifted" then he will receive some type of extra circulum and then maybe he will not be so bored at school.
Hurray, I love getting and sharing good news, as it does not happen as frequently as the bad.
