Brag about my non ADHD son

Today was the last day of school. They had an awards ceremony and my DS 4th grade walked out with 4 awards. I am so proud of him! He got an award for all A's this nine weeks, one for perfect attendance this nine weeks, one for a year of perfect attendance.

The last award, he was the only one in the entire school to get it. He has had perfect attendance for 3 years now. They gave him a medal to hang around his neck, a certificate and three coupons for free kids meals at different restaurants. If it hadn't been for a half a day he would have perfect attendance for 4 years.

I just think this is such a wonderful accomplishment. How many kids can you say that about? Sorry, just had to brag! ;D

Good for you and the boy!!!!!!! I know my daughter is especially pleased when recognized since she always takes second fiddle when it comes to school. Um, If I wasn't in talking to the teachers and principal, it really would be fair
