Do you ever get tired of hearing that phrase from doctors? I've been told that or a variation of that so many times. Some have challenged the idea that changes in the weather pattern trigger premigraine depression and migraines. I wish I could make them experience what I go through for just one year. I was actually told to consider changing my diet even though I've never once had a headache that seemed to be triggered by something I ate and I've tested negative for any food allergies. The weather triggered headaches are extremely predictable and have been for years, probably since I was in gradeschool.

This is interesting... there is another thread from a while ago you might find interesting too which is on the topic of the weather and the effects it has ... its in the "Getting to Know you" section and the thread is entitled 'ADHD/Weather sensitivity ' posted by Songwriter.... its an interesting thread because it isn't ONLY about adhd ... it also includes migraines etc. As for the comment "It isn't scientifically proven ....." I know just what you mean by finding this irritating !! ...

I was actually thinking something along these lines here a second ago. I laugh when I see the birth control commercials. When they tell you the warnings for everything and then they follow up with "you should not smoke when you are on the pill" So does that mean that if I'm not on the pill I should smoke? I don't want to offend any one, I smoke, so BOY I sure am glad I'm not on the pill Any other reterick besides the warning label on sleeping pills that it'll make you drowsy ::)Really

Just thinking about labels/instructions on various products... Don't you think it's about time they took the instructions off shampoo bottles?
Another question to ponder.... Why do fat women always wear red stretch pants?
Why do men have nipples?
Is there an answer to any of these questions? See what you started Kaiti!!

I know this one, as I've taken embryology.
RE "Why do men have nipples?"
All human embryos, whether XX (female) or XY (male), begin developing as females. It is the basic human plan. Then, at a certain number of weeks gestation, if the embryo does not have the second X chromosome (because it is XY, male), it does not fully develop as a female, with all the secondary sex characteristics (female genital organs, etc.) It becomes a male by default. The Y chromosome actually carries very little genetic information. So males have nipples because they are underdeveloped females.
As far as fat people wearing stretchy clothes is concerned, my guess would be that they find it convenient or possible to wear stuff like that.

Well, I can't put what I was going to, it didn't sound nice But why is the hair on mens arms and legs more coarse then females? Why don't most women get facial hair? Why won't my sister shut up about owning 2 Cadillacs? Jeez, just because you don't have kids, sure rub it in. Hey let my kids in them caddy's with ice cream from the custard stand. THEN let her go on about her precious caddy's ;D ;D ;D

RE "But why is the hair on mens arms and legs more coarse then females?
Why don't most women get facial hair?"
I think that this has to do with testosterone levels. Both men and women have male and female hormones, but in different amounts. Men have more testosterone than females do. If you inject females with testosterone, they tend to grow more facial and body hair. Women often develop more testosterone with age, leading to larger jaws, increased sexual desire and more facial and body hair.

Well, don't worry about the desire ;)it's there, hahaha
Oh like with steroid use with say female body builders. Not to say they all use them, but in order to get the muscle cut, b/c females are predisposed to be more fat to carry on the race, right? That's how I learned it
