If you recall my last med check didn't go as I had hoped so dr won't be happy with me but I did a little change to Levis med 
. At the last visit she gave me 10mg of ritalin and his strattera. Well I started just giving him 10mg of ritalin in the morning and depending on homework either a 5 or 10 mg after school. During this time I was also weaning him off the strattera by giving it to him every other day or so. I think the last he took a strattera was last week. Anyways I know the 10mg is not enough but I see results with the attention 
He is willing to do his homework. Also while on strattera he would listen so close to what I was saying he would talk and say the same thing I was (would drive me crazy) and he has stopped doing that as well. AND the appetite he has now is unbelievable. He got on the scale and has gained 5 pounds 
My mind is made up~~~we are going to try the ritalin LA with a booster med if needed in the afternoon. The best part is Levi feels good. He knows he needs a higher dosage but he says now he can pay a bit more attention then he has in a long time......lets hope the dr agrees with us and doesn't get to mad.
