I'm trying to get some weight on Brock. Since he's been on Conerta(about 4yrs) he has no appetite. WIth us this wasn't a temporary thing. Lately he's been on Straterra too. This weekend we're going to try just Straterra(40mgs) I let his teacher and gymnastic coach know(his gym opened up an academy this year, so for now he goes to gym and school at the same place) because I know straterra works more for focusing and less for hyper activity and that could be a BIG problem. But my hope is since he seems to more aware of his behavior he can put it in check, but I guess time will tell. I told everyone that I'd like to give it a month to see how things go but it becomes a problem to let me know and maybe we'll go back to concerta but maybe at a lower dose. I hope this works

Good Good luck to you I sure hope it works out for Brock. As long as you get some feedback from his teacher it should not be a big problem. At least you will have tried.

Well it's only been 2 days and HE said "mom I need to back to 2 pills I'm tired at night during gym and I 'm not doing my routines the right way WOW I told that it was very responsible and "adult like" to know that he realizes what he needs to do to be at his best. Since meet season starts next month and goes until March I guess it would be better this way too. We decided that we'll try it during the summer.

Good for him for taking notice! Very mature!
Maybe like you said yourself, you can up the Strat if weight allows and lower the Concerta. Strat works very well when coupled with a lower dose of a stim in a lot of kids.
Good luck!
