Brocksmom, I´ve heard about that but I have to say I really dont remember it correctly. What I gathered of it was that citron acid´s do irritate some people and will counteract with sim´s in a wrong way........mayby.... ::)I cant remember...
As fas as my ds10 goes, I cant see any difference on him no matter what he eat´s.... people react different to everything, so it´s try and error all over again....

I have heard of it but marja is right. Everyone reacts differently. Supposedly the effects of the citric diminishes the effects of the stims.

Brock doesn't like o.j. so I don't have to worry about it You just don't think of food or drinks getting in the way(or sometimes helping) when you take meds. At least I never thought about it

four years ago, when we were trying stims with ds (before we discovered he cant take them), his psychiatrist told us to never give him the stims with citrus drinks as they lose their efficacy. i dont remember why that happens tho!

Yes !! This is also pushing a memory button in my head ... that this is a no-no ... BUTTT aren't citrus drinks meant to be avoided ANYWAY with our adhd'ers?
