Oh man I am sorry! Hang in there! Did they give him in school suspension? I hope this gets worked out soon... I remember all too well the referrals (as they are called here, and trust me they are BAD) sd got, several a week usually... We were lucky as the school let sd slide more then they probably should of... Although we did have 2 bus suspensions that year... What an awfull year that was! cat

Just want to compare things there with here. Are you involved with your kids school? I mean do you volunteer time to help PTA, the teacher, whatever? Or do you show up for teacher meetings and thats it?
I am just curious because of what I have observed at my kids school and who gets suspended or doesnt for the same things.

I am not able to voluneteer. I work full time. But, I am in constant contact with his teachers. They have him on a point system that he can earn little rewards. He has had this in place since 3 or 4th grade. He is in 7th right now. Anyway, I am notified on a daily basis on how many points he earns. If it is a especially good day all the way down to a phone call. The psych said part of his problem is that it is his hormones, but he is trying to help as well. Another problem is that some of the kids know how to push the right buttons to get him in trouble.

Ah, I was just curious because at my kids school it seems that the more involved you are the more likely that they will get suspended. I know that seems backworks, but my kid will get suspended for something and the kid right next to him that did the exact same thing wont.

I do agree with you. ;)It is very important to be involved as much as possible with your kids and school. I even get to help with homework at night. Here I thought when I was grown up I would be all done with home work. Boy was I wrong ;D ;D ;D ;D
