I just heard that Canada is pulling Adderall and I dont know why. Does anyone have any information about it?
My 10 year old son has been on it for a year and it really works for him, but it is scary to hear that they are going to quit selling it.

My sd has been on adderall xr for over 2 years... We have questioned her dr (primary care), and he feels the canadian market jumped the gun too fast... As I understand it, (havent looked at brenda's link yet) it was only 20 cases, seems minimal to be.... BUT It is frightening!!
We are getting sd independently evaluated in a couple weeks with a psychologist... At the moment the adderall xr has not been working as well as it used to, so we will probably be switching due to it effectiveness not necessary the canadian recal...
Since you are concerned, as we were, I would bring it up with your dr... I hate switching meds that are working, simply because it takes so long to find another one that works... BUT that is me personally, you have to make the most informed decision for you and your son... Good luck!
