Hi My ds has been on 18 mg concerta+ 5mg ritalin, until today; we just got the prescription to 36mg concerta and will carry on with that only. So no Midday ritalin´s anymore  But 36mg´s concerta, we´ll see how it goes....  |

good luck and hope you get by without the extra ritalin. dd was on the highest dose of concerta and still had to have a noon and after school dose of ritalin.

Sami must be getting big Let us know marja. He´s a big boy: 142 cm and 40 kg. So far so good, only 2 day´s, but no more than lesser apetite and I´am hoping it´ll go away by time.... |

GOOD LUCK with this new dosage ...
I know exactly what you mean by the reduction in appetite ... I remember Sam having a big reducation in appetite when he went to 36 mg ... So just keep an eye on Sami's weight ... (Sam at one point in the early days of 36 mg Concerta got really toooo thin for a while ... )
It balanced out in the end ... but in the next 2-3 months particularly you may need to be feeding Sami later than normal !! .

Sami is growing and gaining, so it makes sense he would need the increase. I know it's nice to just give the one a day dosage. I'm sure he will be fine, and if not I know that as great of a mom that you are you will catch it.

Well, first week with no problem´s... mayby that less appetite, but then again he doesnt have med´s on weekend´s and he was eating like there is not enough food for him ;D It has been good for him at school too, so let´s see how it goes...
