Tomorrow we start (gulp)

Tomorrow morning DD starts Aderall xr 5mg. It's the smallest dose available and I know that she needs it but this is new to us and I am nervous. I am excited for her too and am mostly feeling optimistic. Wish us both luck!

i absolutely understand your nervousness, all of us who have decided on meds have gone through it. if this proves to be the right med for your dd, you will feel much better when you see improvement in the quality of her life.

As Amsmom said, this is such a difficult decicion, I can totally understand your nervousness too. Been ther, done that by myself too. You´ll see very soon if it´s helping, so that´ll be a relief(weather it does help or doesn´t, at least you´ll know). Good luck

I was really nervous the first day too...to the point I kept him home from school to see if I could see a difference...and I did...first med and it worked Good Luck
