we went to the doc this morning and he gave us ritlan la. I am so happy I got alot of good responses from everyone. I need support. I was thinking everyone is right ritlan has been around the longest so I hope this one works I would feel a little better knowing people have been taking this drug for 20 yrs or so. He didnt go to school today. I hope tommorrow is better for him with the meds we all need a break.

Ritalin LA doesn't take near as long to begin working as some of the other medications. Hopefully you and your child will have some relief right away. I know how hard it is for everyone to be on pins and needles. Good luck to all of you. Let us know how it goes..!

Babytay, Cami has been on Ritalin LA for quite some time, and out of all the meds out there, ritalin has been her mainstay... the one she has always done best on. You should see immediate results, so if he's not showing improvement at school in a week get them to up the dose some. I'm wishing you tons of luck!

My ds is on ritalin-nooster for afternoon´s on school(dont know if it´s la kind, it´s the one that goes off in about 5 h) That´s really helping him to focus fro the rest of the day, deffenately a responce to the med. So far(we´ve done this for 3 month´s) no nasty side effect´s or problem´s, so we´re happy!
