Have any of you had experience with it? Kelby is on his fourth day of taking it, and I was just wondering when I should start to see results from it. With the concerta, it was pretty much immediate, but I haven't noticed anything with the strattera yet. Just wondering!

bigmomma - I don't have any experience with strattera but I hope that it helps as well as the concerta did before everything went all wrong! I have attached a link to a "sister" website that has a great thread on strattera - I hope this helps! Topic: Everything you wanted to know about Strattera

The thread eaccae directed you to should answer all your Strat questions. The starter of that site has a great deal of Strat knowledge. My dd took it for a while but couldn't tolerate it on the stomach. She isn't a big eater. What I know about Strat is that it takes at least 4 weeks to build up before you really start seeing results. It also tends not to help with attention as much as hyperness. Hope you find your answers.

We're starting on straterra too, but in conjunction w/ concerta i guess if you can find the right doses of both of them together it works really well. that's the plan anyway. If you don't like what you see after the 4 weeks or so to fully load the staterra combining it w/ concerta might ber an option

We tried Strattera and found that it helped with his attention/focus, but not with his hyperactivity. It takes 4-6 weeks, ON YOUR TARGET DOSE, to see results. I gave it 12 weeks, at target dose, and then threw in the towel. I loved the idea of a non-stim, and had no issues with his appetite, the way I do the stims. But Jarrett is ADHHHHD and needs help with his hyperactivity. On day 4, you should still be in the ramp-up process.
