Stephanie has been throwing up this morning.She doesn't want anything to eat because her stomach hurts.Should I give her strattera or should I skip today's dose?Thanks for any help.

I would skip the dose this morning and observe to see if this is a short stomach flu or the result of something she ate. If she appears well give her the dose tomorrow morning. If the stomach problems continue you might speak to the doctor about whether or not Strattera is the cause of her stomach problems. I hope she gets to feeling better soon.

Brenda,
Hope your daughter's feeling better soon!!! Something my doctor told me yesterday was that even though the package insert will say to give Strattera in the morning that if you give it right after dinner, there seems to be less stomach aches and you'll still get the full effect of the medication...
