Hi all there was another thred about PANDAS, wich included question of scarlet fever(I couldn´t answer b/c this is totally unfamiliar decease for me, I´ve only heard of it.) This made me think: What kind of a preventive injection-plan does your child have, a.e. wich injection has he/she had during their first year´s of live? In here, more than 95% of children ( mine included) get´s this kind of a plan: at 1 week old calmette against tuberculosis at 3 month´s Pertussis-tetanus-difteria(=PDT) at 4 m´s PDT +shot against haemophilus-b infections(= Hib) at 5 m´s PDT at 6 m´s Polio + Hib at 1 y Polio at 1y 3 m´s Hib+MMR(that´s hard to explain; mum´s rubella and measel´s? mayby I´am not shure ) at 2 y polio and PDT at 6 y MMR and a booster for pertussis-difteria-tetanus And after that; booster for detanus and difteria every 10 y (Difteria is very strongly infectious in Russia, not in here, but people move and travell a lot so it´s needed.) This is only to my curiosity , but if someone might like to answer so I dont have to wonder it anymore ;D I know you have a shot´s against hepatitis B, wich isn´t in our official plan yet. Is there any other´s? Marja

Hi Marja - Here in the UK the list is very similar to yours ... but in addition to your list Sam has had a shot against Meningitus C which was given at all the schools last year ... (anyone between 14-21 years old was given this).
