Went to get Mikies new Rx today and the lady gave him the same thing he always gets without bothering to call the doc or wait for me to get back to check with me. The Rx was for 25mg Dexedrine. The doc forgot to put spanule so I can kind of see where she would muck up. But the last time a Rx was written in a way she did not like she fussed at me about it. I tried to expain to her what the doc said that Mikie needed 25 of span and 5 of the fast, but she didn't agree and refused to call the doc said it was my job to call the doc. She finally got the other pharmicist there who I like tons better than her said i was hostile and all that. Well it turns out I was half right. The doc wanted 25mg of the span but they don't make it so they had to give 10mg and 15mg span.
She said she assumed that he wanted the 10mg span and 5mg fast because that made more sense. My thinking is what if she assumes that with a different med where she cannot tell what is written but it looks one thing but is really something else. She don't want to call the doc and seems to get help when told she is wrong, she could kill someone.
It is a good thing how she messed up Mikies meds was not hurtfull except for the fact that it was not the the type of release the doc wanted.
Ok I feel better, but Mikie is going to be mad. I promised him only 3 morning pills, but because of there being no 25mg pill he still has to take 4 because the 25 total of spanule and the 5 mg of fast to make 30mg and than his Zoloft. OH well , I am sure he will get over it.
