Hi Jenn, glad you're back. My oldest takes zoloft and within a week or two of starting it I could tell a big difference. A whole lot less arguing with us. Much easier to get along with. She has been on it for a year now and I hope she can stay on it for as long as she needs it.
I don't know why it was prescribed for your child but I can tell you it has been lifesaver for us! Good luck!

Finally made to the doc today and he is keeping the Zoloft upping the Spanule Dexedrine to 25 plus the 5mg fast acting and removing the 10mg fast acting at noon and keeping the Strat.
We decided this because adding the Zoloft made the noon dose just wire him up and not having a noon dose seemed a better option than taking it since the zoloft is so good. He talked to the nurse willingly for the first time since we started going there in 2002 ( I think 2002 lol). He is almost 41 pounds now so he is finally gaining.
She said is his only up 1 pound since Sept but better than nothing. Kat is up 3 pounds so she is nearing the 80 pound mark.

Good to see you back Jenn!! ... My only thoughts on any antidepressant is that they can be really wonderful ... BUT they really do take a good month on average to see the effects ... I am keeping my fingers crossed that Zoloft will be great for Mikie!

HooDunnit, the size of the font can be changed by hitting the second button from the right on the top rows of buttons. It is the A with up and down arrow beside it.
(size=2]TEXT[/size) It will look like this (althouhg I changed the square brackets to curved so it would show)
Change the number beside size=, the higher the larger, and then insert your text where it says TEXT.
example size 6 example size 5 example size 4 example size 3 example size 2 example size 1

There have been ups and down's but for the most part ups. I have seen him happy but not like this. An overall change in him. He seems more willing to help out unless he is in a "rage" which the meds don't always control. Jan 15 will be one month that he has been on the meds, so just going to let school see how it goes and go from there.
