Diagnosed about 6 weeks ago... Was on Celexa for a couple of years to deal with PMS, anger, irritability... Then switched to Lexapro last April... Recently found all the puzzle pieces for ADHD ---what a relief! My doctor took me off lexapro...and put me on 40mg of Strattera...after another wild PMS ride 3.5 weeks into the strattera..i asked for 60mg... Feeling better but waiting the pms window! My symptoms seemed to fall into the hyperactive/impulsive strand of the ADHD...i tend to hyperfocus rather than lose focus and get very irritated when interrupted... anyone mixing strattera with wellbutrin or the SSRIs??? i feel like i still need more

Please note my earlier posting about Strat and SSRIs...dosing adjustments are necessary. Check your package insert for Strattera.

Merrymary,
There are certain SSRI's that should not be mixed with strattera. Paxil, I believe is one of them. I have checked and rechecked this because my daughter has been on Zoloft and strattera since August. She is on quite a high dose of zoloft (anxiety/ocd & depression) and a split dose of 56mg/day of strattera. So far, she is doing well on both. Good luck.
