Took Katie to the doctor today, she's gained 12 pounds since starting Strattera about 8 months ago, and since we get late afternoon meltdown with a side of ponytail flipping around, the doctor upped her to 60 mg.
My question is...Will we go through the side effects again? Will she be tired and have an upset tummy? Tomorrow is Thanksgiving...the last thing I want is for her to yak all over the place and not be able to enjoy her cousins.

LitlBaa, what dosage was she on? If you have enough of the old pills left, you could wait until Friday to up the dosage.
Brooke just went from 25 to 40, last Sunday. We didn't see any side effects with the increased dosage. Of course, everybody reacts differently.
Hope this helps, and I hope you have a "Yak" free Thanksgiving. ;D

Thanks, Ralph, we did have a yak-free Thanksgiving! I went ahead with the 60mg (up from 40mg) today, and she was much calmer and didn't cop an attitude like we usually get around 6pm. She ate like a civilized human (thank you, Lord!) and didn't drive everyone crazy with her running around or yelling. It was a really good day.

LitlBaa, I'm glad you had a yak free Thanksgiving, and that she seems to be acting better. Let me know how things are going with your daughter and the Strattera.
