I don't think my Focalin is doing much. The doctor says that he doesn't want to up it much.
Mom is so against me changing meds it's not even funny. I tried Straterra this summer and didn't get anything done, so she doesn't want me trying anything new.
I can't even tell when my Focalin kicks in. I can't tell a difference between when I take it and when I don't. I'm taking 20 mg in the morning.
*growls*
Sorry, this is mostly a rant.

I talked to the doctor. He's going to put me on 36mg of Concerta, and will add another 18mg if needed. He's mailing the prescription to me, so I should get it on Saturday or Monday.
Hopefully this works...

Keep us posted. I hope it works. It may not get you through the day though. Is your doc thinking about 18 mg in the afternoon sometime if 36 mg doesn't last?
The sprouts take short acting ritalin right after school on nasty homework days. That keeps their attention span and focus up long enough to get through the homework.
Good luck. Hope the Concerta does the trick.

Nope, he's thinking both in the morning if it doesn't do enough.

Talk to him about some kind of ritalin in the afternoon when needed. Maybe short acting. Hope it doesn't bring out the *itch in you like that original script did. ;D
