I just had my dosage of Strattera increased, and a moderate side effect is now thru the roof.
My temperature regulation is WAY off. I had had some minor chills alternating with feeling overly warm. Now I'm very, very overly warm. It's uncomfortable, as though I had a 102 fever, but not something I couldn't live with.
I'm just wondering if this is something others have experienced.

What dose are you on? At what dose did you starts? My husband is to start Strattera tomorrow, he was dx about three months ago. He's tried no other meds, it took this long to get in to see a doctor who wouldn't tell him it was all in his head. He's supposed to start with 18 mg for four days I think then go up to 25 for four days then go to 40 mg. Strattera works well for my 12 yo daughter but I'm worried about my husband taking the same dosage that she's on. It doesn't seem to me that it's going to be enough.

Could the dose be too high for you? When Mikie was on 25mg he had the "fever like" state and his "heart felt funny" and he had sweats. Turned out his dose was to much.
