At our old site, we had a post entitled "pen pals" wherein parents could indicate whether their child might like to have a pen pal from one of the families in these forums. If that is of interest to you, please indicate here.

Hi Barry. My 9 year old, 4th grade daughter was interested and initially sent and got one or two emails and then they petered out quickly. It was kind of disheartening to see her check it every day for a week or two with no new replies. She would probably be interested in giving it another try if anyone else's youngster is really interested. Let me know and I'll supply an email address.
