Not in our case...the psychologist has always done the dx and the psychiatrist administers meds and that's it! I'd love to make $150 for each med visit, wouldn't you? No wonder insurance rates are so outrageous!

You have the wrong psyc and therapist then. All of the Dr's I use are in the same building. The psyc and therapist meet a few times a week to discuss their cases and if needed his PCP is also in the same place. The therapist wants to know when the psyc changes meds even if it is just to change the dose of something. Its great having them all work together. for having to put up with a bunch of people who dont work togehter to solve the problems.
