My sister has been in the hospital for the past 4 weeks (her water broke 4 weeks ago at 25 weeks - on Thanksgiving when she was visiting my parents) and late last Christmas evening she gave birth to a beautiful, 2lb6oz baby boy! Everyone is doing fine (although I think she has seen better days . . . the magnesium they gave her yesterday to stop the contractions made her physically ill, she had a fever, and when she was done her face was so swollen). The good news is that the baby so far seems to be healthy and normal. (The hole on the thingy is apparently in the wrong place so surgery will be done in the next year to correct that). It is a miracle - she has been in that hospital 4 weeks longer than any of us could have imagined - with less than 1% fluid!

Eaccae, Congratulations to all of you! I remember when you wrote us the post about your sister, asking for our prayers. I am so happy to hear the good news. Just imagine that precious baby boy showing everyone he's such a fighter with only 1% fluid to live in!!! Thank you for sharing the wonderful news.
