Emailed Dd's teacher to see if they were having year end conferences as I hadn't heard anything. She said none were planned unless I especially needed one. She complemented me on how much Rose had grown academically and in maturity level this last year. The teacher and I haven't exactly seen eye to eye on some things this last year. (I think she is incredibally burned out, she's been teaching 28 years) The teacher Dd had for 4th grade is moving to 6th and there is a good possibility that Rose will have her. We both really liked that teacher who was very kind and patient. We've got a 3/4 violin reserved for next year's orchestra (My mother's violin was just a little too big for Rose)and the promise of a good teacher. I don't think we could go into the summer doing much better.
